We are inviting people to participate in this project and share their experiences in natural disaster response and recovery. You're eligible to take part if you:
If you are interested in taking part please answer a few short questions here. Some people will be invited to take part in a one-hour interview with a member of our research team. This interview would be conducted via videoconference (Microsoft Teams) or phone call.
In the interview we would ask you more about your experiences getting help with problems caused or made worse by natural disasters. There are no right answers, we are interested in your story and the thoughts you have about things that have happened to you.
The interview will be recorded so that the interviewer can focus on talking to you without needing to take notes as you speak. We will not share the recording with people not involved in conducting the research.
In our research report, if we use something you have told us in the interview, we will not use your name or any information that allows other people to identify you.
If you want any further information concerning this project, please contact one of the following people:
For questions related to the survey or interview, please contact Dr Emily Kothe – Senior Researcher.
For any problems or complaints regarding the research project, please contact: Dr Kerryn Butler – Principal Researcher.
